Where the volcanic setting merges with the amazing Aegean backdrop, a heavenly place emerges. From black pebbles to red rocks and gold sand, Santorini’s beaches have something for everyone.

 

Perissa beach is definitely worth visiting, as it features a cosmopolitan atmosphere where you can indulge in myriad activities. Located at the end of the long beach of Perivolos, Perissa features its signature black sand. From water-based activities, live DJ sets to relaxing moments on a sunbed, Perissa is arguably the busiest beach of Santorini.

 

White Beach of Santorini, known also as Vlychada, is far more quite than Perisssa. You won’t find any sports amenities there but the crystal clear waters and the intriguing landscape are definitely worth your time.

Kamari is a family-friendly beach with many tavernas, restaurants, beach bars and cafes within arm’s reach. Strolling around the beach, drinking cocktails, sunbathing and swimming are a few things you can do there. When visiting Kamari, don’t miss out on one of the most romantic open-air cinemas in the world. 

 

The Red beach features and amazing volcanic setting, with red rocks and red sand that crowns the crystal clear waters. This is quite a spectacle that attracts tourists from all over the world. It's highly recommended for those that love exquisite landscapes.  If you don’t like crowded places don’t even bother going there. The beach is very narrow and during July and August, you won’t find any peaceful moments. 

 

Unlike most of Santorini’s beaches, Koloumbos beach is the most secluded of all, featuring a serene setting, black pebbles, imposing rocks and crystal waters. Away from the hustle and bustle of the predominant cosmopolitan beaches, there you will have a big part of the beach by yourself; that’s the reason this is nudists’ favorite beach.
